| Founded in 1913, the ghost town of Grantham lies four miles east of Vauxhall, undisturbed. Its population never exceeded two dozen persons. Ten years later, primarily due to drought and its proximity to Vauxhall, it was a ghost town. Its two stores and half-dozen houses sat across the road from two grain elevators and provide a brief visit to what was nearly a century ago. H.B. Chenoweth |
