COMMENTS: No road access 26 km hike,found old grave yard in 1985,which had a head stone lying on its side after placing the head stone back on its stand I could read of a boy in the 1800s who died of infection of the foot after walking on a rusty nail REMAINS: Old church still standing,

Danish settlment on the northern tip of Vancover Island in Cape Scott park ,a huge dyke built for farming,almost surcome to a couger while hiking so be very aware and do not make eye contact if you encounter such a critter. Submitted by: Larry carson
