COMMENTS: About 8km east of Grifith on HWY 41 lies a road named Marchand-Lacourse Rd. Turn right and continue to the fork. I did not explore beyond the forks. (4x4 or walk from there on) REMAINS: I saw 3 former homes, 1 collapsed while one was used as hunting shack.

A small settlement established itself here in the late 1880's and added a post office in 1891. Not much is known of the community, but the post office did close in 1940 and most had already moved on. Submitted by: Yvan P.Charbonneau
