COMMENTS: REMAINS: Located on the hilltop is the elegant red brick church boarded up as the last remaining vestige of the hamlet.

This crossroads hamlet acquired its first post office in 1858. The hamlet was served by both a Methodist and Anglican church while its population varied between forty and sixty residents. The post office closed in 1925.
