Definitely the bloodiest cabin in Arizona's history. Frederick Brunckow, a German mining engineer, built the cabin in 1858 while he was working some of his claims nearby. 21 people were known to be killed here including Brunckow. 17 of the killings took place before 1880. Brunckow was killed by Mexicans who put his own rock drill through him and threw him down one of his shafts. Today, it is rumored the cabin is haunted and there have been many reports of people camping at the cabin and seeing ghosts.
