Hamburg's post office was established October 5, 1906 and discontinued ??. Named for its founder, Henry Hamburg, the town had about 150 residents. There were stores, saloons, a stage line, boardinghouses, and more. There was a hotel and general merchandise store owned by the Hartford-Arizona Mining company. The end of Hamburg's date and reason for it becoming a ghost are unknown.
