COMMENTS: 5.5 miles southeast of Salome. REMAINS: Nothing.

1879 marked the layout of Orville and the erection of a 5 stamp mill at the Socorro mine. The town only had about 30 residents, one saloon, and one store. The town, which was renamed Centennial, didn't last long after a winter flood washed away the town.
