COMMENTS:
Town now is the present site
of Superior. REMAINS: Nothing. |
Queen's post office was established April 21, 1881 and discontinued September 5, 1881. Now the present site of Superior, this site was very short lived. There were about 100 residents, and a mill. Queen is in the shadows of the historic cliff a band of Apaches leaped to their death from in the 1870's. It was rumored that skulls and bones could still be found in the area when Queen was in its heyday. Today, nothing is left of Queen. |
