COMMENTS: Just south of Superior but covered by the Ray mine. REMAINS: Nothing.

Sonora was established in 1912 by Mexican employees of the Ray Consolidated Copper company.Sonora had a town hall that occupied about a four square block area. Nothing is left today as the Ray mine has overtaken the townsite.
