COMMENTS:
This site isn't necassirly a "Ghost Town" but IS located in a beautiful area of the Mojave and gives a good view of Broadwell Dry Lake. To get here, take the I-40 to the town of Ludlow and take the dirt road that heads North(the one by the Dairy Queen and house). Stick to the left when the road splits in two, and don't turn left until the second turnoff. At this point proceed straight and soon enough you will see the tailings of the mine on a hillside. The hike up to the mine isn't far as it is strenous. REMAINS: Mine tunnels(3-5), tailings |
At this time I have no information to provide on the history of this area. Submitted by: Nicholas Walrath |
