No current residents.underwater most of the year.from Sacramento go east on highway 50 until Eldorado Hills Blvd go north until you hit Salmon Falls road, about 2 miles too the site. REMAINS: Many foundations,some old side walks,two stone walls,and a old basement. |
Salmon Falls was an gold camp on the South Fork of the American River.It was founded by Mormans in 1848.It was a fairly large town,with a Chinese settlement next too the town.The town was flooded by the waters of Folsom Lake in the 1950s. Submitted by: Chris Geigle |
