Arthurs was founded in 1874 by E. P. Arthurs and has an elevation of 9250 ft above sea level. In 1884 it also had a population of 25. Arthurs had a 320 ft. siding which is a short stretch of track which connects to the main track for which large amounts of hay was shipped.
