COMMENTS: Located in the Withlacoochee Recreation area on the west side of SR581 (Pleasant Grove Rd). REMAINS: Nothing

Settled in 1885 by Reverend Young as a farming and citrus community. There was a railroad station. The population in 1887 was 60 and in 1895, it was 100. Probably wiped out during the freeze of 1895. Information provided by the Citrus County Historical Museum. Submitted by: Mike Woodfin
