NAME: Elwell COUNTY: Story ROADS: 2WD GRID: 5 CLIMATE: Hot in summer, cold in winter. BEST TIME TO VISIT: Summer.

COMMENTS: I don't know if there are any remains of Elwell. REMAINS: None.

At one time, Elwell had a post office, ticket office, and a good store that earned good business. It was also a railroad town. It was located 3 miles east of Cambridge. Why it died, I do not know.It's been gone for a long time. Submitted by: Lara Cady
