Ramissa was a town half way between Clinton & Dewitt Iowa. The legend as I know it was that the train would fill with water after comming out of Clinton. On one occasion the town folk had some tipe of fight with the trains enginner & when he left after getting the water the engineer & the fire man threw a bucket of hot coals on the train's wooden platform & proceded to burn down the whole town.
