Well worth the trip. REMAINS: Many original remnants |
Boulder Basin is one of the truly rugged
but most beautiful spots in Idaho. It offers jagged rock ridges,
tumbling white water, and clear alpine lakes. There are a number
of old cabins scattered here and there around the Basin as well
as the old mill at the Golden Glow Mine. The tunnels and diggings
of the early miners can be seen high up on the rocky ridges of
the basin. The road in is four-wheel territory only but the beauty
of the Basin is well worth the trip. Boulder Basin Courtesy Karalie Ashford Mechanical Sluice Remnants Courtesy Karalie Ashford Boulder Basin Courtesy Karalie Ashford |
