COMMENTS: Close to Boise. REMAINS: A few remnants.

Another town fairly close to Boise is Neal. Started in 1889, the town served a number of mines in the area just over the summit from the Upper Blacks Creek Road. At the head of the valley are the mine dumps and a few dilapidated cabins and the remains of a mill. Submitted by Henry Chenoweth.
