There is a small cemetery on a point of land overlooking what was once a roistering mining camp. That the cemetery contains only two graves indicates the town did not last long. And it did not. History has it that Potosi Gulch died almost as quickly as it began. It did have during its short existence a boarding house, a saloon and one or two other businesses and that is all it ever had. At last look it had one cabin still standing and when that is gone, so will be Potosi Gulch. Submitted by Henry Chenowith.
