COMMENTS: Buda is a town that is still alive with a railroad Depot, A tavern and a picturesque painted ad for RCA Victor still visible in downtown. REMAINS: A few people and a number of boarded up buildings. There are many other small towns to explore nearby..many also in decline.

PO was established in 1855..railroad still goes through town and there is an active depot...residents are very nice and knowledgable about the town history. Submitted by: Bill
