COMENTS: Caesar's Indiana is in Jeffersonville(across the Ohio River from Louisville,KY); Grand Victoria at Rising Sun; and Argosy at Lawrenceburg.(Nearest city to them is Cincinnati, Ohio.

ACTIVITY: Wabash-Erie Canal Park
LOCATION: Delphi, Indiana

OPEN DATES: Reed Case House--First Sunday of the Month through September--2-4 P.M.

COMENTS: This Park, located in the North end of Delphi, Indiana, is confugured much as a pioneer village may have been. In addition to original log cabins from Carroll County, Indiana, it also contains the home of the head engineer of the Wabash-Erie Canal in Delphi, Indiana--the nation's longest inland man-made waterway. Also featured are the Trails, which wind through Delphi and environs, and the Canal Park Annex, which features a restored 1873 Bow-String Bridge. Soon to be constructed is an Interpretive Center/Community Meeting Room featuring the time period of 1850-1870 including a mock-up of the Canal and a simulated Plank Road.
