BEST TIME TO VISIT: End of sept 		COMMENTS: Sits on hwy 75 south of yates center there is creeks where you can find arrow heads where the indians used to make camp once was a busy town had a brickyard in the early 1900,s a bank grocery store cafe,s now the only thing left is the micro lite company they bag a natural supplement for animials used mostly for cattle,about 500 people remain.Mostly farmers and ranchers.They have a home comming in sept with a bean feed and live bands quite the little party.It is also nestled in the middle of 3 fishing lakes-tronto -wilson county fishing lake-and wodson county state lake along with great dear hunting and turkey hunting

Buffalo Kansas has a population of about 200 people. It also currently has a bait shop , Micro-lite, and Drake's Place Bar & Grill. The Homecoming has a great little car show. Buffalo also has a website its buffalobulletin.net.
