COMMENTS:
I have a postcard sent in February of 1907 from Fairwater but postmarked in Saint Charles, Mn. Supposing either the photographer and/or the pilot knew where they were taking this picture, it shows a small community. Using the picture as though it was North/South oriented, it shows the road coming into town and taking a 90 degree turn to the right, continuing till it crosses a small stream, then turns 90 degrees left and continues along this same stream. The iron bridge is clearly seen, along with the barns and houses at the foot of a large bluff, from the previous orientation, we'll call it to the NW of the town. Postcard from Maude to 'Dear Lu, This will remind you of some of the big fish you used to catch'(?), sent to Mr. L.L.Ball, 177 South Ave., Bradfor, Pa (I'm assuming on the Pa, view the back of the card and see if you can read it any better!) REMAINS: Don't know |
