The town is located on Missouri Highway 142, in Eastern Oregon County. It is about 2-3 miles east of the Eleven Point River bridge, and about 4-5 miles west of the Ripley County line. REMAINS: Closed-down package store; a few houses and mobile homes |
I haven't been able to find much about this town online. There was a locally owned package (liquor) store that a husband and wife who were friends with my parents owned and operated. My dad used to mind the store for the owners when they were out of town, but they moved away in the late 80s/early 90s and the store closed as a result and never re-opened.
