COMMENTS: on Hwy 79 just south of Hannibal. Company town for cement plant just South of Hannibal. There is a monument to all nationalities that lived in the town. REMAINS: 2 churches, jail, store (not open)

Founded in 1903 by eastern european immagrants to work at atlas portland cement plant. Became a company town in 1940's. Disbanded in 1963. At one time there were 26 nationalities represented. Submitted by: Bob Greenlee
