COMMENTS: No current residents. The site is occupied by an active farm - and the owners are friendly and happy to share the history of "their" town. REMAINS: Part of the school, and a store remain.

An early Missouri community - but was missed by the railroad, and couldn't compete with the rail-founded towns. Nearest communities are Hale and Bosworth. In the 30's, according to local stories, there still remained enough to tell this had once been a thriving trading community. Submitted by: Chris Jacobs
