COMMENTS: Current residents-noneOn state Road 163 just south of the City Limits of Columbia in Rock Bridge State Park. REMAINS: Foundations, stone dam.

Not sure of the history. Pierpont was located near a natural stone arch. Foundations of buildings and a stone dam is all that remains of what was once a papermill and later a whiskey distillery. Several walking trails take you past abandoned barns and tall cement grain silos of this once thriving community. Submitted by: Brian Baker
