COMMENTS:
There are two or three "ghost" towns on the east side of Glacier National Park. One is at bottom of Lake Sherborne(sp??) near Many Glacier...a second is above Slide lake...Check with the park service at Glacier to verify the names and locations.--they were copper towns REMAINS: Alton is at the bottom of a lake..The one above slide lake is a bushwack with a few trash piles and mine remains. |
