COMMENTS: I was told when I lived there it used to be a booming town it had a bank, grocery store, elevator, lumber yards, post office, barber shop, implement dealer,3 bars,2 restraunts. When we moved there in June of 1984 there was still an implement dealer,a bar,a grocery store,an elevator, and a post office.Population in 1984 was about 80 people.I moved from there in May of 2005 when I left There it was only a bar that was only open when it wanted to be and a post office.I don't know if the bar is open anymore or not but the post office is still there and so is the town hall. They still have roller skating there in the winter time for kids.they also have a very nice hill for sledding.Today There is about20-30 people.I forgot to mention they still have the catholic church there that is still being used.Cayuga is located on highway 11 about 12 miles west of Lidgerwood And 15 miles east of Forman. There is also Tewaaukon Wid Life Refuge about 6 miles south of Cayuga.Marsha Richards
