COMMENTS: Thorne is a township of about ten people but when i look at a plat map of the town it is laid into city blocks and has a train depot. The map says vacated in 1910 on most blocks and there is nothing left but a couple dirt roads of the old town's layout and a grain elevator that has not been in operation for years. I don't know anything else about the town any help would be appreciated. REMAINS: Dirt roads in old towns odd nw-se layout garin elevator that has not been used in years
