A small town located outside of Present day Columbus, NE was established by Ohio settlers in about 1856. When the Union Pacific RR went through Coumubus, UP official George Francis Train decided it would make an excellent new location for the nation's capital and saw the nsmall neighboring community as a future problem so he bought all buildings in Cleveland and destroyed them.
