Both the country cemetery and school pre-date the town which lasted approximately 30 years, from about 1900-1930. The old country school which was previously located near 108th and Old Giles road, is well known for lore about an axe wielding school teacher who lobbed off students heards and buried their hearts under a nearby bridge. Nothing is known to remain of the townsite today. Tours of the Schoolhouse are available thru the papillion public library. Submitted by: Mathew Hanke |
