COMMENTS: BRAZOS: Span. "arms of a human being, branches of a stream'. Post office from 1898 to 1900. At the junction of NM 95 and NM 84, 4 mi N of Tierra Amarilla. The home of two living legends and two of the nicest people who ever breathed pure mountain air. I introduce my friends Bill and Ethyl Mundy. They are known to everyone in New Mexico, particularly in Northern New Mexico. Their life story will certainly be a best seller when somebody takes the time to write it. The "Mundy Story" will certainly be an exciting and interesting bit of reading. Talk about a cowboy! Talk about a cowboys wife! When you visit Brazos, look them up to say Hi and tell yourself how lucky you were that you had a chance to meet them. You may say you read about them in Ghost towns. That would be nice. They have ranched right there for 50 years. Give or take a few days.
