East of Duncan, Arizona and
a few miles past the New Mexico boundary on a dirt road. REMAINS: One structure that could be seen. Access was closed at the time of my visit. There was a mining operation going on. |
P.O. established 1884 and discontinued 1896. Was named for the first child born in the area. the boom lasted from 1880 until 1905. One of the assistant superintendants was Herbert Hoover who later became President of the United States. Submitted by Tom McCurnin |
