CASA SALAZAR. Settlement on NM 279 and W Bank of the Rio Puerco, 35 mi NW of Bernalillo. The seventeenth century Salazar name in NM came from Sebasstian Rodriguez de Salazar, who arrived in 1619. However, n member of this family is listed among the Spanish who left NM during the Peublo Revellion of 1680. The Salazars named after 1692 are new settlers or those who survived the Rebellion.CASA MORENO. McKinley County.CASA GRANDE. San Miguel County. Post office 1907/1912.CASA COLORADO. Socorro and Valencia County. Small tract in SE corner of Valencia County between Belen and Tome grants.
