Diener was a small settlement of about ten cabins housing ten to twenty miners from California. It was a copper mining camp that produced barely enough to keep going until the early 1930s when it folded. What remains can be seen from the road through the settlement which is a notched log cabin and the roofless ruins of several others. Courtesy Henry Chenoweth.
