| OGLE. Settlers by this name operated a grocery store when there was a post office here, 15 mi SW of Tucumcari. Submitted by: Samuel W McWhorter |  1975 photo of what was left of Ogle. this homestead was belonged to the Parker family who lived there for many years. now it's no longer there, but this photo captures the essence of how it looked more or less.. there were more of these homesteads back in the 1910's numbering upwards to about ten to twenty such homesteads on the Bench Pasture (over 2100 acres) Courtesy Nathan Haley |
