Seama. What a beautiful place on this earth. Laguna indian village, 1 mi s of us 66 from cubero. Site of a government indian school and medical center. An early spanish name for the area was canada de la cruz. The valley met the rio san jose, forming a cross, and the spaniards noted this and designated the village, in translation, 'ravine of the cross'.
