COMMENTS: My grandfather, Dallas Burton Tingle, ran the trading post at Tingle, NM in the early 1930's. He traded with local indians and ranchers. He left the area to become an itinerant preacher. I grew up in Pie Town, south of the trading post's location and have been to my grandfather's store. REMAINS: one wall of store behind a locked gate labeled "private property"
