Tatavi was established prior to 1946.  However, the postoffice was built in 1948.  I know because I was there, age 4 in the fall of 1946.  We lived at Totavi over two years, first on the North side of the camp and later on the South side.  The photo you show of Totavi was taken by my father C. N. Scott, a construction employee at Los Alamos.  I am the little boy on the right in that photo.  I have provided more of his photos to Cathy to post on your website for Totavi.  But please credit my father C. N. Scott as he was the photographer.
