NAME: Corwin COUNTY: Eureka ROADS: 2WD GRID: 1 CLIMATE: Hot summer, cool winter. BEST TIME TO VISIT: Anytime. |
COMMENTS: Not worth the trip REMAINS: A few cabins. |
All that is known about Corwin is that it existed for nine months, from December 1878 through October 1879, along an abandoned overland stage route that had not been used since 1869. The only remains at Corwin are the collapsed ruins of two log cabins.
