HANNAPAH

NAME: Hannapah
COUNTY: Nye
ROADS: 2WD
GRID: 1
CLIMATE: Hot summer, cool winter.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: Anytime.
COMMENTS: Dangerous site
REMAINS: Not much left except dangerous holes.

Hannapah had five lives, the first from 1902 to 1907, the second from 1913 to 1917, the third from 1915 to 1921, the fourth from 1927 to 1929, and the fifth from 1934 to 1964. What is strange but yet common in each of the five time periods is a number of different mining companies were actively engaged in mining activity but none were successful. Very little is left of Hannapah. Exercise extreme caution when visiting Hannapah for unmarked shafts are located throughout the site and are well hidden.
