The ghost
town of "berlin" is apparently well known, but doesn't appear on your site.
i'm going for the 1st time this weekend. it has 225 million year old dinosaur
fossils in the area as well.

COMENTS:
After he struck it rich i the comstock
lode, Sandy Bowers and his wife Eilley had the mansion built in Washoe Valley.
It once had solid silver door knobs and hinges. And Sandy bragged "We got
money to throw at the birds." Unfortunately, he didn't live to enjoy the
mansion very long. He died in Virginia City and both he and Eilley are buried
on a knoll overlooking the home.

We have had several movies filmed in this area. In fact they
are starting another in March 2001.

We've opened the mine up last June for tours,have small country store,small
museum,antique 1890's printing press,old buildings& mill.
