CLIMATE: Hot summer, cool winter.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: Anytime.
COMMENTS: Interesting country.
REMAINS: Not much.

Nevin was one of the small, short-lived mining camps that sprang up in 1906. The first shipment of ore to Eureka showed fairly decent values. A small camp of fifteen formed and a request was made for a post office. But the ore ran out before the post office was approved. Only some scattered wooden rubble marks the site.
