CLIMATE: Hot summer, cool winter.
BEST TIME TO VISIT: Anytime.
COMMENTS: Small silver camp
REMAINS: One small stone Cabin

Park Canyon was a small silver camp formed in 1865. The primary ore in the district was silver but there was also value in gold, lead, and copper. The camp contained a number of stone buildings and little else. Activity ceased in 1869 and Park Canyon remained a ghost town until 1905 when it began to show signs of life. The revival turned out to be its longest period of sustained activity. It lasted until 1916 and before it faded miners had removed a sizeable amount of ore from the area’s mines. Ruins in Park Canyon are scant. There is only one standing structure—a small stone cabin.
