My mother is a feature newspaper writerand she does stories on ghost towns.I live in the small county of Paulding in NW Ohiojust in this county alone yields more than 40 ghost towns, allwithin 50 miles apart.most are now only farming fields, but would be greatmetal detecting places. Some other names of GT's are Dague, Folmer, Taits Landing,Nineville, Reinelet, Mcgill, Batson, etc.all the towns are circa 1880's, with exception of Baldwin (1836)some were lumber towns, river towns, and farming communities.
