COMMENTS: Located between bluestone road and Belvior in South Euclid, behind the South euclid city service center. A vacant patch of land with trees. Open on one end to the school playing field of Belvior school. REMAINS: Mounds of brick and debries

Bluestone was a quarry site for Ohio blue stone, the gray sandstone used in sidewalks and building blocks. Established in the 1850's, it became a ripp roaring town much likt the old western towns, complete with dance halls, a red light district and many shootings. Quarry park now rests over much of the town area and parts of the quarry are seen from belvior road in the form of large rocks that were never quarried.
