The first Post Office was opened in 1893 . During the early 1900's the town reached its greatest size. Having a couple banks, telephone company, hotel etc... Due to the droughts of the 20's the population of 300-400 residents dropped dramatically. Makes for a nice trip to walk about and feel the presence of the people who once made this site their home.
