COMMENTS: Close to Red River in Cotton Country in Southern Oklahoma. REMAINS: General store and current residents

6 residents, not much there, old general store and some residents. Not even a cookie factory. Legend has it that the owner of the general store would hand out cookies to the kids as they traveled from Texas. One child said he didn't want to leave Cookietown, and the name stuck.
