My family use to reside in Indianapolis. My grandfather had a blacksmith shop the in the early 1900s. REMAINS: An old grain elevator. Red Rock School |
Indianapolis was founded in the early days of Oklahoma statehood. The Great Depression took its toal and folks started moving away. Today there is nothing left but the remains of an old grain elevator. There is a sign there near the old Rock Island railroad siding identifying the area as Indianapolis. Submitted by: Tom Hardin |
