The town is located about 7 miles from the county seat of Buffalo, Oklahoma. The town was founded on October 31, 1901 and was unincorperated on April 15, 1920. Some people say due to fire. the school remained active as a rural school until 1940. There is a cemetery register at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~jmbc2000/kibby/kibbycem.html Submitted by: D. P. Luthi |
